Cheapest Costco Steak to Grill for 4th of July
Want to cook a juicy steak for 4th of July? Also on a tight budget, let me give you my best suggestion for steak eating on a budget.
4th of July is right around the corner. Are you set on turning on the grill this day, whether at your house, a park, or campground? Well burgers and hot dogs are the most popular options, but there may be those of you out there that would rather be throwing a steak on the grill.
The challenge can be price. A lot of you are on a tight budget right now. So let me give you a couple suggestions before wishing you a Happy 4th.
Top Sirloin is one of the best value steaks. At around $8.99 a pound at most Costco stores in my most recent checks. It’s cheaper than Ribeye or Strip Steak and it still has plenty of flavor. They are often large steaks that are perfect for sharing or cutting in half.
Another option I love is a lot more work ahead of time but worth it. Buy a Boneless Chuck Roast and cutting it into steaks. Then you Sous Vide the steaks for about 4 hours. When it’s time to eat, throw them on the grill just to give them beautiful grill marks and get that charred flavor. Being able to sous vide them allows the meat to become more tender, You could never cook a steak on a grill like that for that long. But finishing it on the grill will make the end of the cooking and serving the meal so easy and delicious. I highly recommend trying it at least once if you have a sous vide machine.
🎇 Happy 4th of July!!!!!! 🎆🧨
